Visit Flores is not completed if you don’t visit Komodo National Park, especially Labuan Bajo, which is the main gateway to Komodo National Park. Komodo National Park lies in the Wallacea Region of Indonesia identified by the WWF and Conservation international as a global conservation priority area, and is located in the center of the Indonesian archipelago, between the islands of Sumbawa and Flores.
Komodo National Park includes three major islands: Komodo, Rica and Padar, as well as numerous smaller islands creating a total surface area (marine and land) of more than 1.800km2.
Komodo National Park is known for its massive living lizard, Komodo Dragon or ora for the local people. The park provides refuge for many other notable terrestrial species. More over the park includes one of the richest marine environments.
The sea surrounding the island offers vistas of sea life, crystal clear waters, and white sandy beaches with spectacular snorkeling and dive site. Its dive site even is one of the best dive sites in the world. The best time to visit the island is between March and June and between October and December. Komodo is accessible from sea only. Fly to Labuan Bajo, from where it is about 3-4 hours by boat to the island.

Tour Plan
Labuan Bajo - Rica Island-Bidadari island and snorkeling- Kalong Island (L,D). Pick up from your hotel then transfer to the harbor and aboard with traditional boat for approx 2, 5 hours crossing to Rica Island. Having Lunch on the boat. Arrive in Rica Island, start your trekking, walking through the typical dry forest to see the Komodo dragons (the giant prehistoric lizards in the world in their natural habitat). On the way, you may see deer, wild buffaloes, long tail Macaque and wild boar also numerous of birds. And keep look on the trees as sometimes you will find the young Komodo Dragons there. A local ranger will let you through this natural Preservation. Back to your boat and proceed to Bidadari island for swimming an snorkeling then to Kalong Island and see millions of Bat out of its nest for food. Lunch and Dinner onboard, overnight in the boat.
Kalong Island - Komodo Island - Pink Beach-Labuan Bajo, back to otel (B,L,D) Breakfast then leave Kalong Island to Komodo Island. Enjoy the wonderful sunrise and some of isles a long your trip. Arrive in Komodo Island, make a short trekking, walking to the typical dry forest to look and see the Komodo dragon. You will find another wild animal like deer, wild pig and also various species of tropical birds and keep a look above as sometimes you will find the younger Komodo dragons are on the trees. A local Komodo ranger will let you through this natural preservation. After ward sail to the Labuan Bajo with stop at pink beach; best site for snorkeling and swimming, coral reef amongst colorful tropical fish. Lunch provided in the boat. Proceed to Labuan Bajo. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel for dinner and overnight.
Bfast, check out hotel - Labuan Bajo-City Tour visiting Batu Cermin Cave - Bali (B) Breakfast and relax in Hotel. At noon, go to having lunch at local Restaurant then take an excursion to visit Local Market and Goa Batu Cermin (Mirror Stone Cave). Afterward transfer to the airport for your flight back to Bali.
